CATTERY CARE

Here for you and your kitty!

Your precious furry friend will find their accommodation cosy, warm and fun!
Each suite has an elevated sleeping area, an exciting place for them to play with their favourite toys and of course their very own space to enjoy their food.

Their wellbeing is our top priority, that's why we recommend bringing some toys and a blanket from home so they are surrounded by familiarity - this ensures levels of stress are at an absolute minimum.
Call us on 07956232501 to book your dates or to arrange a visit to see our facilities before you book.

Below is a daily breakdown of a usual day in the life of a Crazy Cat Lady, followed by all of the important stuff you need to know before booking.

THE CATTERY

A Day in the Life of a Crazy Cat Lady...

Custom-built in 2013 and has been open since January 2014, our Cattery is the heart and soul of all that we do. Every day is a working day but we wouldn’t have it any other way!

We are caring for your kitties from 7 in the morning right through to 8 in the evening, and of course throughout the night too - with our integrated visual and audio system set up in the main house, we can check in on our guests any time of the day.

Their breakfast is served first thing, their water is refreshed daily and their litter trays are freshly done ready for the day. Our guests are welcomed to check in or out during the morning times of 8:30 and 10:30. In between and thereafter, we are busy cleaning the Cattery to an extremely high standard - this is also when we spend quality time with every cat while we clean and take photos for their holidaying humans to view on our Facebook page.

Once we’ve finished our daily cleaning schedule, we check each suite carefully - looking out for whether any kitties need their dry food topping up or their litter trays need cleaning out, which we then sort out accordingly. This ensures total comfort for your cat during their afternoon respite while we enjoy a cuppa and biccy!

We are back at it again shortly after lunch, to check on all of our guests and to have more play time and cuddles. We also check their dry food, water and litter trays again and replenish accordingly.

For those kitties who enjoy an afternoon feed, around 3pm is when we start late lunch for our guests. Again, we check dry food, water and litter to ensure it’s all fresh and clean.

We then begin welcoming guests to check in/out between 4pm and 6pm - this is where we are busy making sure our checking in guests settle in soundly and that our checking out guests are all set and ready for heading home.

Come 6:30pm and we’ve welcomed all booked in guests and said farewell to those kitties going home - this is our time to check in on those who’ve just come in, especially the kitties who have never been in a Cattery before or it’s their first time at our Cattery.

We then leave the kitties in peace for a while before starting evening feeds - this is their chance to have some independent play, settle in some more and really get comfortable!

7:30pm arrives and we’re back in our element with all of our guests - this is settling down time, they’ll have their tea, bedtime cuddles and a few treats.

We also make sure those who have dry food have plenty of it, all cats have replenished water and their litter trays are fresh for the night.

Their tummies are full and cuddles have been had, it’s bedtime for our guests now, so before we lock up for the night, we check our intercom system is ready for the night, turn out the lights, shut the shutters and say good night!
